Mary-Kate & Ashley's Met Gala Looks

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were both out for the "Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty" Costume Institute Gala at the Met on May 2. 

Mary-Kate wore a vintage Givenchy piece, along with luxe Van Cleef & Arpels jewels, and a Judith Leiber clutch.

The only thing affordable for those of us with a lower budget was her Elizabeth and James Feather Knuckle Ring.

Ashley stuck with less bold colors in her Dior Couture dress which featured puffed-up sleeves.  

Completing her look were unseen Louboutin pumps, and jewels also from Van Cleef & Arpels.

Nicole Kidman in Dior at the Oscars

Up for Best Actress for her role in Rabbit Hole, Nicole Kidman, opted away from her go-to designers L'Wren Scott and Nina Ricci; instead wearing Dior Haute Couture.

You can't really fault Nicole, her looks are elegant and flawless but rarely exciting.  Despite all the emblishments this was still a bit of a boring look, and even her red Pierre Hardy shoes couldn't boost much life into it.

Her necklace was surely the main attraction - 150 carats worth of diamonds from Fred Leighton.

Emmy Rossum in All Dior

Emmy Rossum donned a gorgeous little halterneck as she left Chateau Marmont after a Christian Dior pre-Oscars party on February 23.

Her fab little blue-and-white dress was from the designer in question's Spring/summer 2011 collection, and teamed with black strappy sandals and clutch bag - both from Dior too.

Her black croc-embossed Dior Bonnie wedges cost $828.00 to buy at bluefly.com.

Hayden Panettiere in Red Dior

A few candids of Hayden Panettiere seen leaving Chateau Marmont a few nights back.

Hayden wore a black jacket and ruffled red Dior dress combo with open-toe booties from Charles Jourdan.

The black patent stripe boots, named "Aileen", cost just over $210.00 to buy on-line.
